Valhalla - a Creative Minecraft World

If any of you have ever played Minecraft with jerks before, you know how refreshing it can be to break away and create a world of your own. I've been working on a little world called Valhalla and I thought I'd share!

I should begin by giving some details abut my texture pack and whatnot! I use Steelfeather's Enchanted Pack because it's one of my favorites
so far that I've found (also, Summerfields). I think this theme works perfectly for the theme of my world, so I'm sticking with it for the time being. I just love how the subtle romantic touches =) The diamond blocks (as seen in the first picture) give you an idea of the detail involved in this pack. The glass is beautiful and every typeof blockhas a unique feel (even most of the wool blocks have differ
ent patterns). Love it!

Anyway, my house. Now I had never played Minecraft in creative mode before so it ce
rtainly was a wonder to behold. Not only did I have every block and item at my disposal, but I could FLY too. So of course I had to use diamond and lapis lazuli blocks on my house because I adore anything blue. Plus, jack-o-lanterns. You really must always have at least a couple of those hanging around. You may notice that I'm standing on a wooden walkway in the photo. It's actually a covered walkway and I'm standing on the very top. It keeps the snow off of the paths so all the future villagers can travel safely. You know, without slipping.

If you were to turn around you would see the rest of my small town. Right now there is a sand theme bar and two villager houses. The bar was a blast to build and I can't wait to build more public buildings. Here you canalso see my temporary-work-in-progress fountain (complete with squid!) and more of the covered walkway. I wasn't worried about the fountain until the squid showed up and now I really want to give him a great home. Oh gosh, the stupid things I worry about =P

Lastly I give you the interior of a villager's house. I haven't even given the interior of my own house much thought. Oh well. So what do you guys think? Do you have cool Minecraft photos? I'm looking for more people I can talk to about it so let me know if you play!
